Languages: ENGLISH only.

Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified in Oracle HCM Cloud functional configuration or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office products including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Qualified user of OSQL and OTBI reporting software or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of carrying out System Administration activities.
  • Deep technical knowledge of the specified systems and their associated technologies.
  • Software Installation and Configuration to comply with service design, business requirements, company policies.
  • Good understanding of Information Security issues and modern practices.
  • Experience working in an ITIL environment and in a change-controlled environment.
  • Experience with fault and problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.

Description of work:

  • Provide second and third line technical application support for internal and external users.
  • Deliver Out of Hours support as part of an on call team where required.
  • Coordinate the investigation and estimation of business change requests to existing or new Corporate IT Business Services.
  • Ensure all product enhancement requests and open support issues are prioritised and addressed.
  • Establish and maintain a deep and up to date knowledge of each application, working with business unit end users to understand needs.
  • Maintain a central repository of test collateral for each application, ensuring projects deliver new test scripts (eg Business Process Tests, System Tests, Unit Tests and Performance Tests) in a standard and comprehensive format.
  • Ensure each test release exercises a full regression test utilising the associated test collateral.
  • Undertake Service Transition, Project Delivery and Application Lifecycle Management activities.
  • Contribute to new IT Applications initiatives and the management and governance of supplier delivery.
  • Maintain relationships with key users of business applications and system owners.
