Skills and Experience:

  • ITIL v3 Foundation.
  • Experience of diagnosing service delivery problems and initiating actions to maintain or improve levels of service. Establish and maintain operational methods, procedures and facilities in assigned area of responsibility and reviews them regularly for effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Experience of creating and maintaining a catalogue of available services.
  • Experience of gathering information from the customer to understand their needs (demand management) and detailed requirements. Captures and disseminates technical and business information.
  • Service Acceptance: Level 5: Engages with technical design and project managers or Project Management Office, to ensure correct products are produced, in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to evaluate the quality of project outputs against an agreed acceptance criteria.
  • Stakeholder relationship Management (RLMT): Level 5: Develops and maintains one or more defined communication channels and/or stakeholder groups, acting as a single point of contact.

Description of work:

  • Liaise with Customers to establish the structure of service level agreements (SLAs). Ensures that operational methods, procedures, and facilities are documented, maintained and reviewed regularly to maintain their effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Regularly reviews Operational Level Agreements (OLAs – internal), and/or underpinning agreements (external) to ensure that they are in line with SLA targets.
  • Engages with technical design and project managers or Project Management Office, to ensure understanding of service acceptance criteria and agree processes for testing that criteria are met.
  • Examines evidence, and evaluates the quality of project outputs against the agreed acceptance criteria, to ensure correct products are produced, on schedule and fit for purpose.
