Microsoft Project Server/SharePoint Specialist – France

Languages: ENGLISH only

Skills and experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant education (bachelor degree or equivalent) after the secondary school
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience and expertise on designing, implementing, and supporting custom solutions for Microsoft SharePoint
  • Minimum 4 years of web applications programming experience
  • Experience in working in a challenging and complex organisation and demonstrable experience of delivering business and technical change
  • Good experience of understanding and writing business requirements, specification writing and delivery of business focussed technical solutions
  • Experience delivering solutions using project management methodologies (ie PRINCE2)
  • Proven experience working in a small team delivering technical solutions to business requirements
  • Good knowledge of programming/systems analysis, as well as project management, prototyping, development and integration functions
  • Microsoft SharePoint demonstrable experience
  • Microsoft Project Server demonstrable experience
  • Good understanding of SharePoint and the different out of the box web parts and their functionality, InfoPath Form Services and SharePoint Designer
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, client-side and Microsoft .NET programming
  • Knowledge of information management technologies and platforms
  • Other web design and development skills are a plus

Description of work:

  • Analyse, design, develop and maintain the web-based Enterprise Content Management (ECM) of the PMO collaborative platform based on SharePoint and Project Server
  • Work with PMO team and key stakeholders to define the high level solution to be delivered.
  • Analysis and develop diverse range of corporate data-sharing solutions
  • Help business users to exploit new functionality within the system in a controlled and measured way using the PMO processes
  • Ensure requirements are agreed with the stakeholder community and delivered in line with standards and processes
  • Coordinate technical workshops and reviews ensuring that the application meets usability and business users’ UI requirements.
  • Ensure that any configurations and development work is completed and tested within agreed timescales and delivered to the standard and/or management application agreed with the Corporate II Manager and PMO Manager
  • Ensure consistent application and systems documentation is updated when projects and changes are implemented
  • Develop test plans and software documentation to support new releases and system modifications
  • Document developed solutions and provide end-user training to users where required.
